CHALLENGE

Symbio Design is part of a design-build team headed by BrightView Landscape Development to enhance the plaza connected to Long Island’s preeminent office complex. 

RESULT

Our team is working with RXR to develop improvements to the plaza, which serves as the point of entry into Long Island’s preeminent office complex. The existing entrance plaza consists of 50,000 plus square feet of granite paving and is built over an underground parking garage. One of the many goals of this project is to develop improvements that reduce future maintenance costs by reducing paved areas and provide increased areas for seating, planting and gathering. Lighting is incorporated in areas with pathways for pedestrians and vehicular circulation.
